Janie Forbes, MD

Dr. Janie Forbes is a board-certified Family Medicine physician with a passion for integrative medicine.  She graduated from Penn State College of Medicine and completed her residency in Family Medicine at the University of Virginia. Driven by a desire to offer more comprehensive, patient-centered care, Dr. Forbes incorporates acupuncture, Ayurvedic medicine, and preventative lifestyle medicine into her practice. Her primary modality is acupuncture, offering several different styles to suit her patients needs, including KMS Japanese style acupuncture, Chinese scalp acupuncture, electroacupuncture, and auricular acupuncture.
